Here at Prestige Sealcoating we use the same top-of-the-line asphalt sealer on the market on our residential properties as we do on commercial properties. Our sealer is mixed to manufacturer specs with sand and a bonding agent to give it durability and a dark, rich black color.
New asphalt is rich in oil and binders, which provide a smooth surface and flexibility for ground movement. Sun, heat, cold, salt, rain and other factors cause the asphalt to deteriorate over time — turning grey and losing flexibility, leading to cracking and degrading. When sealed with our sealer, the asphalt will withstand harsh elements, resist gas and oil spills, and extend the life of the asphalt while keeping a pleasing black color.
